The challenge

Running production on paper and word of mouth costs time, quality and nerves.

In many bakeries, ERP, recipes, staff and equipment work side by side instead of together. You know the result:

  • Recipes on paper

Printed recipes, handwritten changes, outdated versions on the line – deviations are bound to happen.

  • Duplicate data entry

Orders, consumption and produced quantities are keyed into the ERP by hand. Errors and delays included.

  • Gaps in audits

Which raw material batch ended up in which finished product? Without digital traceability, every customer enquiry and every audit turns into a search.

Full integration

One data flow – from order to finished goods.

BakerySuite closes the loop between business planning and the production floor. Every step builds on the same data.

  1. 1
    Order & recipe

BakerySuite Connect imports orders, recipes, items and raw material batches from your ERP.

  2. 2
    Central control

The BakerySuite Server manages recipes and distributes orders to lines and terminals.

  3. 3
    Production on the line

At BakerySuite Touch, your operators work through the recipe step by step – including weighing and batch recording.

  4. 4
    Plant control

Via BakerySuite SPS, your equipment receives its setpoints straight from the recipe – through WAGO, Siemens or Phoenix Contact PLCs.

  5. 5
    Feedback & live view

Produced quantities and consumption flow back into the ERP; the BakerySuite Control Panel shows everything live.

Proven in practice

In daily use in the bakery industry.

BakerySuite is not a concept on paper: at THOKS in Waltershausen, at Coolback in Suhl and at the MTK site in Gronau, the suite controls production – from the ERP order and recipe execution at the terminals right through to PLC plant control.

Whether frozen bakery products, tray bakes or cream slices: wherever production follows a recipe, it becomes clear what end-to-end production software has to deliver.

Frequently asked questions

What is BakerySuite?

BakerySuite is modular production software for bakeries and the bakery industry. It consists of BakerySuite Server (recipe control and central hub), BakerySuite Touch (shop-floor terminals), BakerySuite Connect (ERP integration), BakerySuite SPS (PLC plant control) and BakerySuite Control Panel (live web portal).

Which businesses is BakerySuite suitable for?

BakerySuite is built for industrial and semi-industrial bakeries that want to control recipes, orders and equipment digitally – for example manufacturers of frozen bakery products, large-scale bakeries and bakery producers with multiple lines or sites.

Which ERP systems are supported?

SAP Business One and Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) on MS SQL are currently connected in live operation. In principle, any ERP system that offers an interface can be connected. Learn more under Integrations.

Which PLCs are supported?

BakerySuite SPS is currently in use with controllers from WAGO, Siemens and Phoenix Contact. We are happy to evaluate other manufacturers for your project.

Do I have to introduce all modules at once?

No. BakerySuite is modular. Many bakeries start with Server and Touch for digital recipe execution and add ERP integration, PLC control and the Control Panel step by step.

Is BakerySuite available in the cloud or only on-premise?

Both: BakerySuite can be run on-premise in your company network or as a cloud version.

How are support and updates handled?

BakerySuite is always operated with a maintenance contract. This secures support, updates and the further development of your system for the long term.
